A food co-op is a grocery store that is owned and operated by the people who use it—like YOU, your neighbors, farmers and producers, students, townies, tourists and more!
It's a COMMUNITY-POWERED store that supports LOCAL producers, offers HEALTHY and sustainable food, keeps prices fair and makes decisions collectively.
Anyone can shop at a food co-op, but if you become a member, you get a voice in how the store is run—and often get other benefits too!
It’s not just a store—it’s a way to build a stronger local food system and support your community.
