What is a co-op?
A co-op (short for cooperative) is voluntarily owned by the people who use it, and operated for the benefit of its members. For more details on how co-ops function, visit our blog!
What stage are you at?
The Farmington Food Co-op is incorporated and has a board of directors. We are doing lots of planning and are exploring purchasing the BLC. We hope to become a community grocery store that is owned and operated by the community for the community.
When will it be open?
We don't know yet! Right now we’re exploring the purchase of the BLC and hope for a smooth transition if we do choose this path, but nothing is set in stone. To stay up to date, sign up for our newsletter!
Where does my donation go?
All donations go directly to startup costs. Consultants, posters, the website, all the things we need to get started! Every dollar counts!
